This project was made possible thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Josée Barrau and engineer Réal Lamour in collaboration with the sisters of the Immaculate Conception School.

The Rondo Canal is one of the main canals that carry most of the waste from the city of Trou Du Nord when it rains. Because it was so close to the school building of the sisters of the Immaculate Conception, it became a danger in the eyes of everyone.

For more than 3 years, the sisters have been looking for help from everywhere and in vain. But now everyone is celebrating this accomplishment and we can all sleep knowing that the children are learning in a safe and clean environment.
